This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to do the work of the FLOOR COVERER position without more than normal supervision: 1) Installing various types of carpets, linoleum and/or tiles;2) Reading blueprints in order to plan and perform work to floors; 3) Calculating measurements to estimate the material needed; and 4) Using tools such as hammers, chisels, combers, brushes, pneumatic and electrical tools.
