Description:

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer.

Requirements:

For GS-09 - The applicant's resume must show at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Assisting with environmental compliance for one or more environmental compliance related fields such as Air Quality, Hazardous Waste, Solid Waste Management/Recycling, Pollution Prevention, and spill response; 2) Assisting in field visits, environmental inspections, site investigations, and surveys; and 3) Assisting in preparing draft correspondence, technical reports, field logs, inspection reports, and other supporting environmental documentation.

For GS-11 - The applicant's resume must show at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Applying knowledge and understanding of one or more environmental compliance related fields such as Air Quality and Hazardous Waste, Solid Waste Management/Recycling, Pollution Prevention, and spill response; 2) Reviewing environmental standards, specifications, and project plans to ensure compliance with environmental requirements; 3) Conducting site investigations, audits, and surveys; 4) Collaborating with customers and other organizations to resolve environmental compliance concerns; and 5) Gathering technical information in support of data calls, taskers, environmental submissions, and reports.
