Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience managing all programmatic aspects of multi-million-dollar grant programs, including awarding, monitoring, and project closeout. They should also be able to provide technical assistance regarding grant program requirements and policy.

To qualify for this Grants Management Specialist (Mitigation) position at the IC-11 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-09 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:

Administering or managing grants related to federal assistance programs, Providing technical assistance and/or training to stakeholders regarding the administration of grant programs; and, Applying laws, regulations, and policies related to grant management operations.

OR

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or LL.M., if related

OR

Combination of education and experience.

To qualify for thisGrants Management Specialist (Mitigation) position at the IC-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:

Monitoring grants management operations to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies, Communicating with stakeholders regarding the administration of grant programs; and, Leading a team or providing oversight of grant programs and/or services.
