Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Federal service that provided the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities coordinating support functions performed by the installation staff, evaluating operations to ensure support functions are following requirements and regulations. Providing logistical advice in support activities to include public works, facilities engineering, and logistics of supply and maintenance functions, emergency services and information technology. Recommending and allotting resources among multiple projects. Monitoring contracts and contractors' performance. Assisting with planning and developing command installation policies and procedures to support the Command's mission and programs. Preparing reports of evaluations and providing recommendations for the installation Commander. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
