Duties As a Research Geologist within the Geology, Minerals & Geophysics Science Center, some of your specific duties will include: Conducts original research on the geologic framework of the western United States in support of resource investigations. Develops and applies quantitative geological models for resource assessments. Acquires and analyses geological data in two and three dimensions to understand geologic processes.
