Description:

You will serve as a CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER in the Acquisition Division (FEAD) of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Participating and/or coordinating both pre-award and post-award meetings such as Technical Evaluation Teams (TETs), constructability reviews, preconstruction conferences, partnering meetings, and final inspections; 2) Identifying and recommending technical solutions to problems encountered during the construction of facilities; 3) Monitoring contractor construction schedules to ensure construction projects do not exceed time constraints; 4) Reviewing accident prevention plans for compliance with contract health and safety requirements; and 5) Reviewing contract drawings and specifications with respect to constructability and compatibility with field conditions.
