Description:
Incumbent works in the Commander, Navy Region, Southwest (CNRSW), Fleet & Family Readiness NAS Lemoore (FFR), Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Program Fitness Division under the general supervision of the Supervisory Recreation Specialist (Fitness Director). The purpose of this position is to plan and carry out a comprehensive aquatics program to include all aquatics activities to meet the needs of eligible patrons.Requirements:

Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs.A qualified candidate must possess: Knowledge of aquatics and related aquatics safety programs that would be obtained with a minimum of three years of progressive experience in aquatics programs and have a four-year undergraduate degree in Health, Fitness, Recreation or related field. Knowledge of various specialty equipment, both resale and fixed assets to ensure quality material exists to enhance programs. Knowledge of the roles of the lifeguards during a coordinated rescue scene for the safety of the rescuers and the victim. Knowledge of and ability to conduct pool chemical testing, adjust chemical imbalances, and document the results. Skill in planning and executing a comprehensive aquatics program that includes a variety of aquatics activities and/or individual, which meets the needs of the participating community. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and other operating systems used in the program area. Ability to develop and effectively deliver presentations and/or training. Ability to perform the full range of supervisory duties.
