In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service which includes: 1.) conducting cost benefits analysis and interpretation of data through the use of Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics; 2.) estimate at completion and target over baseline and conduct Budge Formulation and Budget Execution with a proficiency in automated financial management systems; 3.) General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Funds Control, Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Microsoft Excel and Defense Travel System.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Budget Administration Concepts, Policies, and Principles of Finance Oral Communication Problem Solving Written Communication
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
