Requirements:

GS-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least 6 months of general experience and 6 months of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ( GS-03 ) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Six months of general experience that includes experience in administrative, clerical, technical or military work that involved protecting property, equipment, data or materials; or that involved making judgements based on the application of directions, rules, regulations or laws; AND you must possess six months of specialized experience that encompasses and/or pertains to one of the following: regulating building access, or conducting security perimeter patrols, or inspecting packages, vehicles or personal belongings prior to admission into controlled areas

GS-05: I have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating a knowledge of a body of basic laws and regulations; knowledge of law enforcement operations, practices, and techniques; knowledge of maintaining order and protecting life and property. Examples of the specialized experience required at this level must encompasses and/or pertain to one of the following: regulating building access, or conducting security perimeter patrols, or inspecting packages, vehicles or personal belongings prior to admission into controlled areas.

GS-06 : I have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating a knowledge of a body of basic laws and regulations; knowledge of law enforcement operations, practices, and techniques; knowledge of maintaining order and protecting life and property Examples of the specialized experience required at this level must encompass and/or pertain to one of the following: respond to complaints or calls for service or emergencies, or gathering and analyzing facts, or enforcing traffic laws or issuing citations for violations of law.

GS-07; Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: demonstrating a knowledge of a body of basic laws and regulations; knowledge of law enforcement operations, practices, and techniques; knowledge of maintaining order and protecting life and property. Examples of the specialized experience must encompass and/or pertain to one of the following: seizing and protecting evidence, or interviewing witnesses and taking statements, or conducting preliminary investigations or conducting traffic stops or detaining citizens for violations of law; or subduing or disarming individuals
