In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09-12) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Developing and mentoring others within an Engineering and Scientific Development Professionals (ESDP) program; (2) Utilizing oral and written communication skills; (3) Performing work related to the mission and business profile of the organization; (4) Working independently with minimal supervision, taking initiative to identify and solve problems, and implementing process improvements to enhance the workforce; and (5) Utilizing products and technologies associated with the department, with the ability to clearly explain their basic functionality.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
