¿ A minimum of three years of experience in managing a motel/hotel type operation.
¿ Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
¿ Must possess a strong understanding of hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, maintenance, supply/inventories, finance, and food and beverage service.
¿ The ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with guests, staff, and management.
¿ Ability to lead and motivate a team of employees.
¿ Proficiency in using hotel management software and computer applications.
¿ Knowledge of federal, local, and state regulations related to lodging facilities, including safety, health, and environmental codes.
¿ Must possess extremely strong communication skills, written and oral, to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, officials, and others.
¿ Knowledge of NAF policies and procedures preferred.
¿ Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation from the American Hotel & Lodging Association Educational Institute (AH&LA EI) preferred.
¿ This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
