About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Resource Mangement Flight.
This position will be filled as a Regular Full Time employment category, guaranteed 35.00 hours per week.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of administrative regulations, practices, and procedures
- Ability to support accounting, budgeting, financial, and fiscal operations
- Capability to perform effectively at the grade level of the position
- Practical knowledge of payroll accounting is essential
- Understanding of internal control principles and policies
- Ability to communicate effectively , both orally and in writing
- Experience analyzing a wide range of documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidance
- Experience with cash-related processes , including receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, and accountability control methods
- Ability to identify and address problems , gather necessary information, establish facts, and take or recommend appropriate actions based on interpretation of guidelines
- Education may be considered as a substitute for experience
- Successful completion and favorable adjudication of background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required
