Description:
You will serve as a Supervisory General Engineer in the Navy Primary Standards Laboratory of the Electrical/Mechanical Branch of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional GENERAL ENGINEER performing duties such as: 1) Good understanding of metrology and calibration; 2) Knowledge working with complex primary measurement systems; 3) Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to ensure technical requirements are met; 4) Works well in a team environment; 5) Effective communication and writing skills; 6) Strong program and project management skills; 7) Strong technical background in Mechanical Systems; 8) Successful in assisting with planning and execution of workload priorities; 9) Ability to build strong and long-term relationships with key stakeholders.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
