RANGE SAFETY OFFICER

You will serve as a RANGE SAFETY OFFICER in the G-3 Operations and Training Directorate of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.

The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting or contributing to the Risk Management process; Processing and approving of range requests; AND providing real-time control of approved range activities.
