Note: In order to be considered "qualified" for this position, your specialized experience must be described in your resume. Please be sure that your resume clearly states any and all of the specialized experience that you may have. If your specialized experience is not clearly detailed in your resume, you will not be considered for this position.GS-6: To be eligible at the GS-6 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level in Federal service.
Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level in Federal Service. Examples of specialized experience include: assisting in monitoring an operating budget; preparing routine payments, running recurring reports, and inputting data into an automated financial management system; reviewing documents with financial implications to ensure they are accurate and complete; and maintaining a file system for payments and invoices.
GS-7: To be eligible at the GS-7 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 level in Federal service.
Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 level in Federal Service. Examples of specialized experience include: performing analysis of financial data to determine trends in obligations and expenditures and recommending budget changes as required; resolving routine budget inquiries; reconciling costs/accounts on a scheduled basis; preparing invoices and other fiscal items for payment; noting, clarifying, and correcting financial discrepancies; reviewing budget estimates for obvious omissions, format incompleteness or inaccurate data; and entering obligations, amendments, deliveries and all actions into an automated financial management system.
Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies. If your agency has notified you in writing that you are a displaced employee eligible for ICTAP consideration, you may receive selection priority if: 1) this vacancy is within your ICTAP eligibility; 2) you apply under the instructions in the announcement; and 3) you are found well-qualified for this vacancy.
