Description:
This position is located at Java Cafe at Presidio of Monterey-Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation. This is a flexible position (0-40 hours) with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans.This announcement is open and continuous; closing 06/05/2025 or until the position is filled. Bi-weekly reviews sent to management starting 17 Apr 2025 and every other Thursday after.

Qualification Requirements:Experience or training that indicates sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position consistent with acceptable practices of the trade including but not limited to the following:
1. Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
2. Ability to work without more than normal supervision.
3. Must be able to keep things neat, clean and in order.
4. Possess basic food preparation and handling techniques.
5. Possess the ability to interpret verbal and written instructions.
6. Knowledgeable of basic sanitation principles.
7. Possess the ability to use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment.
8. Able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds and frequency walk, bend, stoop, pull, push and reach.
