This MILITARY AND FAMILY READINESS SPECIALIST is located in the Joint Force Headquarters (State), Support Programs Division and is part of the CA CHQC Joint Staff.

Requirements:

MILITARY AND FAMILY READINESS SPECIALIST, GS-0301-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Serving as a fully independent advisor within geographical area of responsibility in accomplishing all objectives of the Soldier & Family Readiness Program (SFRP); Managing and operating family assistance centers and providing assistance to commands; Coaching, mentoring, and training junior staff; Establishing recurring outreach contact with each Service member's Designated Individual as directed by law, regulation or instruction from the Supervisory Family Support Services Specialist.
