You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST within the Contracting Division of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division (FEAD) Twenty-Nine Palms .Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, executing, and administrating contracts in support of an extensive range of supplies, services, and specialized equipment; 2) Applying state of the art project management techniques towards contracting projects; 3) Developing policies and procedures for work involving the evaluation of government contract price proposals, advertising, negotiation, administering, and/or termination of contracts for procurement of supplies, services, or construction; and 4) Managing and motivating groups of contracting/procurement personnel towards organizational goal accomplishment.
