Description:
You will serve as a Technician in the Modernization and Installation Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER Port Hueneme Division.The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical electronics engineering guidance and expertise to coordinate projects during ship combat systems modernization and integration events for a naval warfare program.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
