Description:
Operates a limited service bar such as portable bars for private parties and banquets. Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, receives and records payment at time of sale, and maintains inventory of stock. Ensures bar is in a presentable and sanitary condition. Performs other related duties as required. Must meet minimum age requirement.Requirements:
- The incumbent must have the ability to visually recognize shortages of supplies at the bar such as beverages, beer, condiments, garnishes, glasses, napkins, and utensils, and to replace them as needed.
- Skill is needed to use knives and automatic slicers in the preparation of garnishes such as or oranges, limes, and lemons.
- The incumbent has the ability to serve non-mix drinks under the close technical guidance of a bartender.
