Description:
As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.The position is the Manager for the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) Team and will report directly to the Group Manager.
Requirements:
There is no timeframe requirement at the Level IV/FV-I to compete. Candidates must show experience at the level of difficulty and responsibility that is appropriate to the position. Experience that demonstrates an extensive knowledge of and experience in technology system interrelationships, and management of civilian or military automated aviation, navigation, and electronics systems. Generally, experience at the next lower level Pay Band I/ Level IV or GS/GS-13 or equivalent, meets the minimum qualifications for this position as long as the experience supports the demonstrated abilities identified below.
Specialized Experience is: Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in the maintenance, operations, restoration, and performance of WAAS operations and services, domestic and internationally.
