You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the Capital Improvements ofNAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND MARIANAS.This position is also subject to a Cost-of-Living Allowance (COLA) currently set at 11.88%. COLA is subject to change without notice.
Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Acting as Design Manager on projects and led In-House or Architect/Engineer (A/E) multi-disciplined engineers, architects, and designers engaged in providing engineering and design services; 2) Developing designs, multi-discipline Design Bid Build (DBB) plans & specifications, multi-discipline Design Build (DB) RFPs, and cost estimates in support of facility engineering projects, scale ranging from Sustainment, Restoration, Modernization (SRM) up to authorized military construction, (MILCON), scope, including administrative facilities, barracks, family housing, training facilities, warehouses, maintenance complexes, hangars, and other operational facilities; 3) Providing post construction award services (PCAS) on Design-Bid-Build (DBB) projects, including review and approval of contractor's submittals for conformance with the requirements of the contract drawings and specifications and providing post award design services (PADS) on Design-Build (DB) projects, including review and approval of contractor's A/E design submittals for conformance with the requirements of the RFP; 4) Developing and maintaining project schedules utilizing industry standard software / data base; 5) Developing A/E statements of work, A/E design fee estimates, evaluated A/E proposals, and negotiated/awarded A/E task orders; 6) Coordinating various engineering and architecture disciplines to deliver advisory services accomplishing cost effective, high-quality design and construction activities; and 7) Serving as a supervisor for diverse and highly technical architects and engineers.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
