You will serve as the Principal Technical Manager for the Digital Engineering Department, Naval Sea Systems Command, Port Hueneme, California.Requirements:
The applicant is to provide a separate narrative statement which describes fully, but concisely, how his/her experience supports each of the following Mandatory Technical Qualifications. Each technical qualification narrative should not exceed 2 pages . Failure to address these specific qualifications in a separate narrative statement will eliminate you from consideration:1. Strong science and technology background in an engineering discipline with an emphasis on air and missile defense technologies and other shipboard weapons and senor integration.
2. Strong background in acquisition program management and understanding of hazards associated with naval combat systems.
3. Knowledge of the Department of Defense acquisition process.
4. Knowledge of research and development (R&D), test and evaluation (T&E) and life cycle sustainment programs in areas associated with Cyber Security, Software and Network of Digital Systems on combat and weapon systems and Strike Weapons.
5. Ability to negotiate complex solutions within specific functional areas with major stakeholders.
