Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying a thorough, expert knowledge of principles, theories, techniques and methods of all support program management to assure maximum effectiveness and economy of operations. You have experience providing training and analysis or managing command-wide policies, programs and procedures in the areas of: personnel management, financial management, organizational planning, regionalization, functional realignments, intra/interservice partnerships, information systems support, safety, and security. You provide guidance, advice, counsel, or instructions to employees on work and administrative matters. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Identify areas requiring improvement and effects needed changes in work distribution, improvement in manpower utilization, use of facilities and services, and provision of data for management information purposes; 2) Establish short and long range plans to continuously review local polices to ensure compliance with higher headquarters guidance, validate effectiveness, and implement changes as required; 3) Oversee the centralized purchase card buying function for compliance with rules and regulations and proper support of command; 4) Develop new programs to enhance management's objectives; developing and evaluating facility proposals to determine operational impact; 5) Make recommendations to enhance automated systems program execution.
