You will serve as an ENGINEER in the NAVSURFWARCEN PORT HUENEME DIV, SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS DEPT, of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level ND-03 (GS-09-11 equivalent) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer applying advanced theories, concepts, or principles to identify and resolve problems in the test and evaluation of missile systems for compliance with technical standards.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
