TECHNICIAN

Description:

You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the FLEET WARFIGHTING READINESS AND OPERATIONS DIVISION (CODE 24) of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. Surface Ship Radiated Noise Measurement (SSRNM) Ops Team Lead.

This is not a high-grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13, Step 10 (currently $156,498).

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing routine technical support tasks under supervision, assisting in the testing and evaluation of undersea systems and equipment, applying basic mechanical, electrical, or electronic principles to troubleshoot and maintain systems, documenting findings in written reports, and collaborating with team members to support project segments. This experience must demonstrate the ability to follow established procedures and contribute to the resolution of technical problems with guidance from senior staff.
