You will serve as a EXPLOSIVES SAFETY SPECIALIST in the Operations (N3) Division of US NAVAL BASE GUAM.This is a RE-ADVERTISEDMENT of Announcement Number ST-12737867-25-TG. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement.
Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting and applying explosives safety, practices, procedures, laws, regulations and policies to carry out an explosives safety program; 2) Determining causal factors contributing to mishaps and/or hazardous working conditions and developing corrective action; 3) Developing and Conducting training courses related to explosives safety, transportation of hazardous materials, preservation/ packaging, and ammunition logistics; 4) Inspecting facilities to determine compliance with standard operating practices and locate potential areas for mishapsAdditional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
