This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION.

Examples of this Screen-out element are:

1) Applying knowledge of all types of complex radio and radar systems used in aircraft structures;
2) Performing repairs and troubleshooting on radar systems and their components utilizing a variety of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE);
3) Using various types of weapon control, multi-mission radar systems and communication systems; and
4) Communicating with shop personnel and support groups in the day to day operations of the shop.
