You will serve as a Supervisory Training Instructor in the Production Resources Department, Employee Development and Quality Division of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience applying education and training principles, techniques and practices to plan and conduct assigned training projects.
- Experience developing plans, policies, and procedures related to nuclear submarine overhaul and repair and all phases of non-nuclear subsurface ship repair and overhaul.
- Experience applying analytical skills, judgment and knowledge to identify deficiencies and direct corrective actions.
- Experience foreseeing training needs and requesting them on the training budget.
- Experience with quality assurance principles pertaining to material staging, training, cost and schedule adherence.
