You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (POLICY/PLANNING) in the FLT NUMER OCEANGPHY METEO CTR.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience leading and managing a group of highly technical contractors and government civilian personnel of varying competencies in an unstable business and technology environment.
- Experience with and demonstrated ability to research problems and issues in order to develop plans and strategies to develop the IT infrastructure to support short and long-range regarding FNMOC HPC goals, objectives, and plans.
- Experience with and mastery knowledge of the principles, functions, and processes of management and the organization of work to evaluate, select, and advise others on the application of architecture modeling tool sets used to document, maintain, and enhance the architectural planning process.
- Experience with and mastery of IT theories, principles, standards, and business practices related to High Performance Computing.
- Experience with and mastery of professional project management practices sufficient to manage a portfolio of projects and to represent the Command and Agency on interagency work groups established to develop government wide IT policy initiatives and solutions to critical issues.
- Experience with and mastery of Project Management theory and practice applied to HPC projects sufficient to produce detailed work breakdown in a resource-constrained environment, manage the execution of, and close out complex projects.
- Experience with and skilled in applying capital planning regulations and policies as applied to the agency's business requirements.
- Experience with and knowledge of the Navy's budgeting and Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) process.
