To qualify for a General Supply Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-11 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Experience with automated inventory systems (i.e. EBS, WEBSDR, WEBVLIPS, LDG and DSS).
- Inventory reconciliation.
- Coordinates with Financial Liaison Specialist, Acquisition Specialist, Product Specialist and Supply Planner to investigate blocked invoices, aged intransits, and contract receipts.
- Reviews highly complex or unusual error actions related to inventory discrepancies.
- Performs special assignments such as studies and reports on inventory discrepancies, inventory adjustments, and other factors; analyze independently and resolve difficult issues/problems.
- Works with the appropriate teams to develop, recommend, and implement corrective actions to the Enterprise Business System (EBS), training material and business processes.
- GS-11: To qualify for this position at the GS-11 level based on education in lieu of specialized experience, applicants must possess the following: three (3) full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
