Description:
You will serve as a MANAGER in the SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy.
Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer evaluating computer, mechanical, or electronic systems engineering program requirements to coordinate budget allocations, develop designs and plans, and provide technical engineering advice for shipboard weapons and launcher systems projects.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
