This position is located within The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U. S. Coast Guard (USCG), Deputy Commandant for Mission Support, Assistant Commandant for Acquisition, Director of Program Executive Officer, BAYOU LA BATRE, AL.Requirements:
For GS-12: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Specialized experience should demonstrate the following:
- Reviewing production activities and capabilities in light of contract quality requirements.
- Reviewing written quality or inspection procedures for adequacy and evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of quality/inspection systems, to include sampling plans; identifying inadequacies and requesting corrective action.
- Interpreting contract requirements; covering policies and procedures of the Quality Assurance (QA) and Test Programs.
- Conducting studies and problem analyses with developing logical and documented recommendations.
- Investigating customer complaints and deficiency reports,
- Providing identification of causes to appropriate authorities.
