Description:
You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
Salary Range by Grade Level:
GS-07: $57,070 - $74,196
GS-09: $69,809 - $90,749
Requirements:
FOR GS-09 GRADE LEVEL :Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector monitoring or evaluating contract quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with contract specifications for ship repair and overhaul.
FOR GS-07 GRADE LEVEL :
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting with quality assurance inspections, assessments, reviews, audits, or surveillance of contractor operating processes, procedures to ensure compliance with established quality control requirements for shipbuilding projects.
