This vacancy is for an Education Technician, GS-1702-05, located in the U.S. Coast Guard, Training Center (TRACEN), Child Development Center (CDC), Petaluma, CA.Requirements:
AT THE GS-5 GRADE LEVEL : Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-4 grade level (in the Federal sector).Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this
position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Examples of specialized experience include:
- Assisting in planning or implementing early childhood education programs.
- Providing appropriate, specialized developmental care and instruction for children.
- Performing daily planning activities.
- Maintaining records of progress in areas such as growth and motor skills and preparing progress reports of each child.
- Observing and reporting significant individual and group behavior; participating in parent/teacher conferences; and
- Maintaining files of approved programs of instruction.
Four years above high school.
OR
Combination of post-high school education and specialized experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
