You will serve as a Tractor Operator in the Production Plant Barstow of Marine Depot Maintenance Command.The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption .

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Operating diesel-powered tractors 90,000 D.B.P (Draw Bar Pull) and drive all types of motor vehicles, normally exceeding 32,000 pounds gross vehicle weight rating such as a 988B Cat, warehouse mule/tractor, 16K front loader, 36K Forklifts using forks, trailer lifts and lifting slings. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.
