SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ZONE MANAGER

Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ZONE MANAGER in the NUCLEAR REGIONAL MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT, NUCLEAR PRODUCTION MANAGER, OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Requirements:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Experience applying knowledge of shop work operations and practices of the various trades in the shop.
• Experience practicing analytical management techniques, including production and material control, cost control and personnel management.
• Experience managing personnel training needs and maintaining the necessary skills required for the shop.
• Experience working with the negotiated agreement procedures, and shipyard instructions.
• Experience planning, scheduling, and executing work of subordinate personnel.
