Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct operational assistance to the Community Support Program (CSP) Food & Beverage Facility Operation Manager. This position is located in the Anchors Catering & Conference Center, Naval Base San Diego, Dining Services.Requirements:
- A minimum of one (1) year experience which provides knowledge of club, restaurant, business operations, or equivalent leadership experience.
- Experience is required in an office environment with progressive responsibilities or related education.
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable regulations, policies, principles, and procedures.
- Must have ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and to provide work direction to other employees.
- Must have ability to use initiative, discretion, and independent judgment in making decisions.
- Must be people-orientated and have an excellent sense of customer relations.
- Must possess a courteous, tactful and diplomatic demeanor.
- Skill in computer data entry is desired and must have knowledge of software applications such as but not limited to Word and Excel.
