You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (ER/LR) in the Command Operations Department, Human Capital Management Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provides advice on labor and employee relations to management and servicing specialist and works with the local labor management partnership team to resolve issues; 2) Promotes effective employee-management relations; 3) Act as management advisor for labor relations issues for a variety of occupations such issues as standby, overtime, shift or environmental pay issues; 4) Provides assistance on discipline, adverse actions, grievances, employee counseling and related functions; 5) Researches fact, legal precedents and defines legal and factual parameters and issues of cases; 6) Interprets policies, and provides advice on various issues such as harassment, substance abuse, hours of work, work schedules and conditions, leave administration or pay entitlements; 7) May serve as a technical representative before formal judicial proceedings when necessary; 7) Participates in special projects or studies relating to total force/human resources issues and processes .Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site:
