You will serve as an Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist in the Research & Development Group, Weapons & Energetics Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DP-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of an Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Performing work related to project/program management; (2) Training and developing junior and journey-level engineers and leading teams in accomplishing technical and programmatic tasking; (3) Performing work related to existing and state-of-the-art insensitive munitions design and testing technologies, analysis processes, result verification, and system qualification; and (4) Utilizing safety approval requirements through WSESRB, NOSSA, DDESB, JSIMTP.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
