Description:

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for DIB/MRTFB in the DoD. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Requirements:

Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below.


The Screen-out Element for WG-08 position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION.
1) Operating, installing, and repairing a variety of major interrelated and/or integrated aircraft systems, subsystems and assemblies such as fuel systems, hydraulic systems, flight control systems, airframe and control surfaces;
2) Knowledge and skill in the use of standard and specialized tools and test equipment of the trade including fixtures, templates, scales, test stands, and external power sources;
3) Ability to diagnose issues with systems and recommend solutions;
4) Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematic diagrams;
5) Demonstrating a thorough understanding of safety regulations, practices and procedures.
I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.

The Screen-out Element for WG-10 position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION.
1) Operating, installing, and repairing a variety of major interrelated and/or integrated aircraft systems, subsystems and assemblies such as fuel systems, hydraulic systems, flight control systems, airframe and control surfaces;
2) Ability to rig, function test, or troubleshoot systems, determine when they are operating properly and determine the extent of adjustment and alignment needed;
3) Knowledge and skill in the use of standard and specialized tools and test equipment of the trade including fixtures, templates, scales, test stands, and external power sources;
4) Ability to diagnose issues with systems and recommend solutions;
5) Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematic diagrams;
6) Demonstrating a thorough understanding of safety regulations, practices and procedures.
I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.
