A minimum of three years' experience leading and teaching recreational activities such as mountain biking, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, archery etc. Must have at least one year experience in developing, managing, and maintaining a recreational or similar program A degree in Recreational Management or similar is preferred and may count as two years¿ experience. Incumbent will be required to obtain and maintain certifications or training in Wilderness First Responder, Archery Level 1 and personally lead outdoor recreational activities (archery, rock climbing etc.), Must have or obtain American Red Cross First Aid, CPR/AED within first 6-months of employment. Must possess a valid state driver¿s license.
Must have experience in planning and organizing programs and events. Must have a minimum of two years¿ experience in a variety of clerical duties such as typing, filing, record keeping, etc. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (email), Windows, and navigating the web. Must have excellent oral and written communications skills. Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to successfully plan, organize and execute events. Applicants must have the ability to maintain effective working relationships with other personnel, both inside and outside the organization. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
