You will serve as an AEGIS Waterfront On Site Installation Coordinator in the INTEGRATED COMBAT SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT, FLEET ENGAGEMENT & ENGINEERING DIVISION of NAVSURFWARCENDLD.The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
Requirements:
For the NT-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least 1 year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical guidance or expertise in the installation, troubleshooting, or operation of defense combat systems. Examples of qualifying experience may include: applying engineering principles relating to AEGIS and AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense Combat Systems; applying engineering principles to testing and evaluation events; utilizing performance management/measurement methods, tools, and techniques to solve technical problems.For the NT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least 1 year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical support in the installation, troubleshooting, or operation of defense combat systems. Examples of qualifying experience may include: performing technical duties concerning the application of engineering principles relating to AEGIS and AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense Combat Systems; utilizing performance management/measurement methods, tools, and techniques to solve technical problems, utilizing defense computer programs and equipment to execute technical engineering tasks.
