You will serve as a AIRFIELD SPECIALIST in the AIR OPERATIONS (N32) of NB CORONADO.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing daily airfield checks to include safety, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and equipment conditions on the airfield runways, taxiways, parking aprons, ramps, facilities and airfield lighting systems; 2)Completing daily Airfield Status reports upon opening and routing reports to appropriate personnel; 3)Coordinating daily airfield construction and maintenance projects with the Public Works Department (PWD) with Air Field Manager guidance; and 4)Coordinating parking for loading and servicing of aircraft with hazardous cargo or live armament handling (guns, missiles and bombs).Examples of Qualifying Experience:
Maintaining, retailing, purchasing, or procurement of automotive, rail, air, bus, or other transportation equipment or services, or in the operation of a commercial transportation facility or terminal. This experience must have demonstrated knowledge of fleet operations; familiarity with Federal, State, and municipal regulations governing the use of transportation vehicles; and the maintenance of inventories and cost computations..
