About the Position: Serves as the Hospital Housekeeping Officer and Contracting Officer Representative, responsible for carrying out the installation and administration for housekeeping, linen, laundry controls, regulated medical waste, non-regulated waste, and recycling at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, CA.- A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting in daily operation of a medical waste management program; assisting in monitoring appropriate usage of all linen items within a medical center; assisting in conducting inspections on hospital grounds to adhere to environmental sanitation standards; and overseeing personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
