Must have a combination of 3 years¿ experience that demonstrates knowledge of classification storage and disposal of hazardous material, knowledge of integrity inspections on equipment and property, general safety policies, and administrative skills. Must be familiar with OSHA and EPA regulations. Must have good oral and writing skills. Must be willing to perform minor travel for necessary trainings. Must possess excellent customer service skills and knowledge of general clerical methods and techniques, including skills to prepare documentation and presentations in a proper format in accordance with naval correspondence,
Ability to operate a personal computer and use various software systems to create and generate reports. Must be proficient in RMI-SIR within one year. Work requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting and may be required to work in extreme environmental conditions. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
