You will serve as a SUPERVISORY POLICE OFFICER in the Navy Installation Command, Department of Navy of NAVBASE CORONADO SEC DET.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing guidance on law enforcement and security policies and procedures; 2) Interviewing witnesses to crimes, accidents, or security breaches to determine facts, warrant apprehension, detention, or lesser action; 3) Resolving law enforcement issues; 4) Conducting searches to compile evidence of crime/accident scenes; 5) Reviewing reports for accuracy, discrepancies, and areas of concern. Additional Information (Continued):

This position requires rotating shift work.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Completion of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Uniformed Police Training Program is a condition of continued employment. Employee will be required to sign a Continuing Service Agreement prior to travel to the academy. Agreement to continue in service requires 36 months of continued employment after the completion of required training from the FLETC in accordance with Title 5 USC 4108 and 5 CFR410.309. Failure to voluntary complete length of employment requirement can subject employee to reimburse to the agency for fees, such as tuition and related fees, travel, and other special expenses (excluding salary) paid in connection with the training.

Workplace Safety : Incumbent adheres to all safety regulations and standards. Properly uses all required safety equipment and safe work place procedures. Promptly reports all observed workplace hazards. Immediately reports (same work shift) to supervisor any injury, occupational illness, or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps. Does not fail to report observed occupational illness, or property damage. No failures to report observed workplace hazards. No accident or injuries resulting from failure to adhere to safety regulations and standards, failure to used appropriate safety equipment, and/or follow state working procedures.
