You will serve as an AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER in the CHINA LAKE RANGES DEPT, RANGE OPERATIONS DIV, AIR OPERATIONS BR AIR SPACE CTRL SEC of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.Requirements:
(DS-04): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/10) or pay band (DS-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes the following: 1) Independently directing aircraft within restricted and special-use airspace; 2) Utilizing radar and monitoring systems; 4) Advising on and applying FAA and military regulations to air traffic control operations; 5) Effectively communicating with aircrews and ground control to make real-time decisions in a dynamic environment; 6) Advising and coordinating with multiple agencies during complex flight operations or test missions.(DS-03): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/10) or pay band (DS-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
