You will serve as DIRECTOR, ARCTIC SUBMARINE LABORATORY (ASL) in the Command Staff of UNDERSEA WAR FIGHTING DEVELOPMENT CENTER.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- *Experience in program management, Navy budget development and execution, submarine operations, Navy training and qualification programs, fleet exercise coordination, and a combination of submarine sensor employment and NAVSEA material configuration requirements.
- *Experience supervising and managing shore command programs, infrastructures, and resources.
- *Experience applying knowledge of submarine Arctic operations to make creative decisions and significant recommendations that effect positive changes and development to support critical mission requirements.
- *Experience developing and interpreting guidance in the area of submarine fleet operations in Arctic.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
