This position serves as the Deputy Technical Director, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division.The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs): Your resume should demonstrate accomplishments that would satisfy the technical qualifications.
TQ#1. Strong science and technology background and competence in combat systems research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) acquisition policy and project management execution in the development and consistent application of criteria, analysis tools, techniques, and data sets accepted throughout the engineering community.
TQ#2. Knowledge of Warfare Centers, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) affiliated Program Executive Officers, and the Fleet relative to the Division's organization, mission, technical authority roles and responsibilities, and inter-relationships.
